Pain levels range from 'snapping rubber band' to 'pinching' depending on the individual. Lucas pico laser has 1000x shorter pulse than traditional nanosecond lasers, reducing heat buildup and pain. Numbing cream can be applied to minimize discomfort.
Pico laser minimizes heat damage, making scarring risk very low. With proper energy settings and treatment intervals, most recover without scarring. Following post-care guidelines (sun protection, no scab picking) ensures clean healing.
Generally, older tattoos remove easier as the body's immune system naturally removes some ink particles over time. However, new tattoos can also be effectively removed with pico laser, and their clearer ink can make laser targeting easier.
Most colors can be removed. Lucas pico laser offers multiple wavelengths (532nm, 755nm, 1064nm) to address various colors.
Laser-shattered ink particles are absorbed by macrophages and discharged through the lymphatic system. This natural healing process takes 4-6 weeks, and the next treatment should only proceed after complete skin recovery. Too-frequent treatments increase skin damage and scarring risk.
