Thinking about Ultherapy while you are in Seoul for a holiday or a business trip? This guide is for people who want to see the published price before they message a clinic, and who want to know how much of a day the treatment takes. LIV Plastic Surgery is a non-surgical anti-aging clinic in Gangnam, one minute from Sinsa Station and next to Garosu-gil. International patients pay from the same price list as Korean patients, and you can book directly in English without an agency.
Ultherapy Prime prices at LIV (2026)
LIV treats with Ultherapy Prime and publishes its prices on the price list. The figures below are the starting prices per session; the shot range shows how the price scales with the area you treat.
| Area | Shots | Price (per session) |
|---|---|---|
| Upper face | 200–300 | KRW 780,000~ |
| Lower face | 300–400 | KRW 1,170,000~ |
| Full face | 400–800 | KRW 1,560,000~ |
| Full face + neck | 600~ | KRW 2,340,000~ |
Two things to know about the numbers. The tilde means "from": the final price is set once the surgeon has seen your face and agreed the shot count with you, so a larger area or more shots means a higher final price. And VAT is added on top of the listed price. The VAT refund scheme for international patients depends on Korean tax law at the time of your visit, so please check with the clinic before you travel.
What the price covers
- The shot count for your area. Ultherapy is priced by the number of shots (pulses of focused ultrasound) delivered. The upper face means roughly 200–300 shots, a full face 400–800, and adding the neck starts from 600 shots. The surgeon decides the count at your consultation.
- A genuine Ultherapy Prime system and authentic cartridges. LIV is an officially certified Ultherapy Prime provider and a Thermage FLX partner clinic. Only genuine, certified handpieces (tips) are used, and you are welcome to check this yourself before treatment.
- Language support at no extra charge. Consultations are available in English, and interpretation is arranged free of charge on request. There is no foreigner surcharge and no fee for language support.
- An in-person consultation with the surgeon before the treatment, on the same visit. The 1:1 consultation fee is KRW 10,000, and it is fully deducted from the treatment cost if you proceed with treatment on the same day.
How long it takes, and whether you need to come back
- Time at the clinic. A topical anesthetic cream is applied for about 30 minutes, then the treatment itself takes 60–90 minutes. Most non-surgical treatments at LIV take 30 to 90 minutes and need no hospitalization, so many patients are treated on the same day as their visit.
- Return visit. Ultherapy Prime is completed in one session: same day, no revisit required. That is what makes it easy to fit into a short trip.
- Downtime. You can return to daily life immediately. Mild swelling or redness is possible after the treatment; it typically settles within a few hours to 1–2 days, although this varies from person to person. Depending on the area, a temporary change in sensation can also occur.
- Pain. With the topical anesthetic, most people tolerate the treatment well.
- When you see results. There is an immediate effect, then gradual improvement over 3–6 months. Results last 1–2 years.
Fitting Ultherapy into your trip (no agency needed)
You do not need a medical-tourism agency or a broker to book at LIV. You message the clinic directly, get a quote before you travel, and there is no deposit to reserve a consultation. Enquiries are answered within one business day.
- Contact the clinic on WhatsApp (+82 10-6888-2773) or the live chat on this site, in English. You can also use the contact form.
- Remote consultation and quote. Share your concerns and a few photos. The clinic suggests suitable treatments and sends a clear price estimate.
- Schedule your visit. Pick a date and time that fits your itinerary and reserve your appointment.
- Visit and same-day treatment. Meet the surgeon for a final in-person consultation, then receive your treatment the same day in most cases.
- Remote aftercare. After you return home, follow-up and questions are handled through your messenger or chat, and you receive a written aftercare guide in English.
Practical details for the day:
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed on Sunday (Korea time).
- Getting there: Sinsa Station (Line 3), Exit 4 — a 1-minute walk. From Incheon Airport it is about 70–90 minutes by AREX train or limousine bus, or about 60 minutes by taxi; from Gimpo Airport about 40 minutes by taxi or subway. Address: 4F, Jaeun Building, 80 Naruteo-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
- Payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay and Korean won in cash.
- Flying home: Ultherapy Prime needs no follow-up visit. Non-surgical treatments like this generally place no restriction on flying, so a flight home the same day or the next day is usually fine; the clinic confirms the timing with you individually at your consultation.
- Changing your appointment: because there is no deposit for a consultation booking, if your plans change — including a delayed flight — simply tell the clinic through the same chat as early as you can.
When you block out time, allow for the numbing cream (about 30 minutes), the treatment (60–90 minutes) and your consultation. Because there is no return appointment, the treatment can sit on a single day of your trip and the rest of your itinerary stays as planned.
Is Ultherapy Prime right for you?
The clinic describes Ultherapy Prime as suited to people who:
- want lifting without surgery;
- are concerned about sagging skin or loss of elasticity;
- prefer a natural-looking change; and
- want a treatment without downtime.
Areas treated are the forehead, eye area, cheeks, jawline and neck.
Points to raise at your consultation:
- Ultherapy is not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- If you have a metal implant in the treatment area, a consultation is needed first.
- Mild swelling or redness, and a temporary change in sensation in the treated area, are possible.
If you are weighing it against other lifting options at LIV: Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound (HIFU), while Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency (RF). Shurink is also HIFU and, in the clinic's words, suits regular care at a reasonable cost. Which one fits you is decided at the consultation.
Every treatment is planned and performed under Dr. Sooyoung Kim, a board-certified plastic surgeon with four SCI-indexed research publications; see our medical team. More answers for international patients are on the medical Q&A page.
Before you book
Your treatment area, shot count and final price are decided at your consultation with the surgeon; the figures above are the published starting points so you can plan your trip. Send your questions through the international patients page or the contact form and the clinic will reply within one business day.
Frequently asked questions
Do international patients pay more for Ultherapy in Korea?
No. At LIV, international patients are charged from the same price list as Korean patients, published on the pricing page. Prices are per session and exclude VAT, and there is no extra charge for interpretation.
How many shots will I need?
It depends on the area: roughly 200–300 shots for the upper face, 300–400 for the lower face, 400–800 for the full face, and from 600 shots for the full face and neck. The surgeon sets the exact count at your in-person consultation, which is also when the final price is confirmed.
Does Ultherapy hurt?
The treatment is done after a topical anesthetic cream has been on for about 30 minutes, and most people tolerate it well.
Can I have the treatment on the same day as my consultation?
In most cases, yes. The treatment takes 60–90 minutes, requires no hospitalization, and Ultherapy Prime needs no revisit, so one appointment is usually all you need to plan.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
There is an immediate effect, followed by gradual improvement over 3–6 months. Results last 1–2 years.
How do I know the clinic uses a genuine Ultherapy device?
LIV is an officially certified Ultherapy Prime provider and uses only genuine, certified handpieces (tips). You can ask to verify this before your treatment.
